Yaz Mean, from Cardiff, released her Music Video titled Cream in early December. Yaz Mean has a great catalogue of content, from Battle Rapping to making great tracks. Check the Music Video for Cream below:

We had the chance to ask Yaz Mean some questions. Here's how it went:

Where was the Music Video filmed? Egypt, I went out there to visit family and as I was in the process of making my EP it just made sense to me - don’t get me wrong it wasn’t easy but I got the footage in the end. Who produced the Music Video? Veez Nixon produced the track and edited the video also. How long have you been making music? A while, it’s funny when I look back on it but I only started taking it seriously a few years ago, like proper vids etc What inspires you most? I stay true in my bars and I only write about my experiences, good or bad, writing helps me figure things out.

How would you describe the music that you typically create? Shit lol. Nah it’s different I suppose, I just do what I want to do at the time, definitely the beats inspire me when writing for that specific track. If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be? My heart says WU, My head says Kendrick (Also yeh imagine 2020 LoR were playing boomtown the same year as WU TANG were headlining..can..you...imagine, but yeh I do hope that happens this year #bringbackfestivals) What is your creative process like? Just roll with it really, it always hits when I’m trying to sleep then I’m like ok no sleep tonight.

What is your favourite song to perform? Mango & Cali. What do you like doing in your spare time? Eating haha. Nah I suppose graphics, photography, I’m always designing and creating something - otherwise I get bored. What is your biggest/weirdest fear? Well if I told u that I’d have to kill you What would be your super power? Definitely be able to teleport. Traveling is so long so yeh, final answer. What’s next for you? So I got an EP coming out, soon.
