We had the chance to ask ManLikeVision some questions. Here's how it went:

Where was the Video filmed and who produced it and where was the audio recorded for this song?

So my latest music video was filmed in Cardiff by Howie P who is the owner of ‘Oh

so grimy’ I did a ‘Rate that fire’ freestyle that was released December 22nd 2021. I

mainly record my music over in Play it Loud studios with Jamie Winchester. I found

the beat for my recent freestyle on YouTube and it is produced by Tomek Zyl

music.

How did your journey with music start?

My journey with music started very young my dad and my mother were musicians

at the time so I was surrounded by rap music and RnB, my parents would always

sing along so I kinda did the same I always took interest of the culture between

two genres I always did my research and find out more about the artist I grew up

on.

What inspires you most?

I think the one thing that inspires me the most to write music is my environment

and just looking at the world around me little things can make you write big

stories or sometimes I just rap about my life and struggles I like making music that

people can relate to.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?

My music is both very old school genres, I count myself as a hip hop and a grime

artist, and a lot people ask me why I do these genres and the reason why is that

the artists I listen to were mad talented and other genre didn’t really have that

spark at the time. Hip hop and grime bring the lyrical wordplay, punchlines and

flows and the beats are mad creative, I can appreciate any good music as long as

it’s good music.

What is your creative process like?

My creative process leads me back to what inspires me, just how life is or can be.

I have a lot of dream collabs I think my top 3 are Drake, Ocean Wisdom and the

last one is out of Nas or Ghetts.

If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be?

To be honest I’d open up for any artist with the same genre as me or does the

same work but if I had to choose I’d open up for the Four Owls or Ocean Wisdom

again.

What celebrity would you rate as a perfect 10?

A celebrity I would rate a 10/10 is Marisa Tomei… I have my reasons.

What is your favourite song and why?

I get asked this question all the time, there are so many great songs in the world

that one question is the hardest one for me I generally can’t answer. I have

favourite songs but not 1 favourite I can stick with.

What's your favourite place to eat and why?

My favourite place to eat is ‘The Man of Gwent’ it’s like a pub but the food is 10

out of 10 I like to go to simply places I hate anything fancy just nice places to go. If

Nandos is your favourite you are plain as hell.

What are your favourite movies and why?

My favourite movies are

1. Spiderman no way home because that movie is goated and I relived my

childhood in one movie.

2. Wolf on Wall Street because it’s class and funny af, Leonardo Dicaprio is one

of my favourite actors of all time.

3. Django because it’s a sad but badass film what makes it so sad is that most

parts in the film happened in real life.

How has the pandemic affected you?

The pandemic messed me up big time, my mental state was all over the place and

it’s generally because I didn’t know if it ever end. Music was the only thing I had

to keep me going, I think the pandemic was sad and soul destroying the one thing

none of us should go through.

What’s next for you in 2022?

2022 is another year of domination and greatness just keep doing me… Nuff said
